Busy week
Boy, what a busy week last week - every night had something going on. Monday night Colin had a deacon's visit, Tuesday night was Anna's final soccer game (with pizza party), and baseball for Colin, Wednesday night we went to a family from church for dinner and a swim (but we were rained out on the swimming), then Thursday was Colin's birthday, with he and I going shopping together in the evening. Friday night was soccer for me and then a birthday party in Burlington for my sister-in-law (= late night), Saturday was a work day at the school for Colin (he was gone from 7:30 to 3:30). Then yesterday we went for lunch to a new family in our church (after finding and fixing a flat tire on the van at 9am - made it just in time to church), and had a couple from church over last night for coffee (until after 11:00). The days were spent on the usual daily activities, which included a lot of swimming for the girls in the backyard pool, given that it had been quite hot all week (and continues to be so - supposed to be 36 celcius tomorrow, so it will probably hit around 43 to 45 with the humidex). A very busy week, but very enjoyable with so many things to do! What a blessing also to experience the communion of saints in so many visits & functions...
This week looks to be not quite so busy - pictures for a church photo directory tonight, golfing on Tuesday morning for Colin (with three others from church), then baseball for him on Tuesday evening. Then on Thursday Sarah, as well as Pete & Chandra & family are coming for a bbq. More events to look forward to!
Pictures of our camping trip should be coming shortly.

ah,ha, now I know which Sarah you're talking about seeing as I talked to her just a while ago and she said she was seeing you guys on thursday. Duh ! didn't clue in when I read your blog this morning !
Sounds like we're all having a busy summer this year. That's great especially as we all seem to be enjoying it. Phoned you this morning 'again' and no-one home. Yep, a busy summer !
PS.:0) Isn't it nice you have a/c with this hot humid weather ? It's nice and warm here, not stiffling hot like last week, thankfully. Hope it's as nice in Manning for Sharon and Erik.
