'You knit me together in my mother's womb' - Ps. 139: 13

We thank the Lord for the safe arrival at 12:45pm today of Silas Christopher Meerstra! He was born at home with the capable assistance of the midwives, and both son and mother are doing well. He weighed in at 8'1", and has dark hair just like his sisters did upon their arrival. His big sisters are quite happy, but have not had a chance to see him yet - hopefully tomorrow after Laura gets some rest. We thank the Lord for making everything well, and are truly amazed again at the miracle of new life. The words of Ps. 139:13&14a are so true: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Congratulations...how thrilling! Now all you have to do is remember for the next 20 years or so that boys are quite different than girls and they do things their own way! We wish you all the best.
