Update
The last week has been nothing out of the ordinary but has been rather slow paced. Last week Friday, Anna, Naomi and I went to see The Nutcracker at Hamilton Place (thanks for inviting us, Chandra!) It was a great performance made more special by the fact that it was performed mostly by kids/youth. The girls recognized a lot of the music because of their previous exposure to Tchaikovsky. They have listened to the Classical Kids CD "Tchaikovsky Discovers America" so many times that they know the pieces off by heart. I developed a nasty cold on that day and had to drug myself up to go but it was worth it. The rest of the weekend I took it real easy because my cold developed into a nasty head cold with a huge headache. Now we have the chicken pox in the house! Everyone was exposed to it a little while ago at my sister-in-law's house in Owen Sound. Naomi had the chicken pox last Spring but very mildly. I sure hope she doesn't get it again. Anybody heard of a re-occurrence with that virus? Anna was the first to break out and I'm sure Bethany will be getting it too. Oh well, might as well get it done and over with!
Colin is very busy right now getting his new office set up. There's furniture to set up, computers to install, phone system to put in, people to hire, cleaning to do and the list goes on. It seems very overwhelming right now and we'll be happy when all is set up and running in the new year. He hopes to move into the new office this weekend and then have a couple of weeks to work out any problems. That way when he officially starts he won't have to contend with little nit-picky things. It's been awhile since we posted pictures but hopefully we can get some on of the new office during the Christmas holidays.
