Lots of Snow & Playful Pups

We got quite the amount of snow last night so we had our work cut out for us this morning. Colin was in a rush to get to work so he just dug out his car and left the rest to me! It's a good thing I actually enjoy shoveling and the girls like to help me too. Bible study was canceled this morning so I also had extra time to spend enjoying this great snow fall. Pretty soon though I won't know where to put the stuff, the piles keep getting higher and higher. Who said we weren't going to have much of a winter this year?

Genevieve has been getting more and more comfortable in our house and acting like a real puppy. We have some toys for her and she loves to play and roughhouse with us. We do have to keep a close eye on the kids' things though otherwise she wants to chew on that as well. This morning she started to eat a Polly Pocket shoe much to Anna's dismay. The girls are getting better with her but as you can tell from the picture they still aren't too sure when she gets real close. House training is going quite well although she hates going outside in this freezing cold weather. I'm not going to succumb to her whimpering though because we have to make her a little tough!

Yes, my thoughts exactly, she looks so tiny beside the girls, that's when you can actually see that she's not as big as we thought she was even though Colin said she was about 6 or so " tall, we found that hard to imagine looking at her pictures. Beside the girls now though youcan see she's still little. Phoned this morning to see if you had as much snow as Chandra said they had, but I see you do. Enjoy it !! :)

ps. If you don't want her chewing everything then you need to give her a slipper of one of you guys' to chew on and that will diminish chewing on other things. It needs to have the human smell on it, so an old slipper is the best.
