In the Middle of Nowhere: Here they go again

There's a lot I can blog about from the activities in the last few weeks, but I'll start off with a simple 'back to school' blog. There was much excitement in the air last night as two little girls could hardly sleep with so much anticipation for the following day. Lunches were made, backpacks ready, clothes laid out and stomachs jittery. It's the same every year again, the kids are ready for some extra stimulation but there's just so much I want to teach them at home too. Our summer was very busy this year and there just didn't seem to be much time for all the little extras. Oh well, it just means we'll have to look forward to Saturdays and PD days to catch up on household fun. For now it's back to reading, writing and arithmetic (and lots of social time with friends too :).
